Reg AF personnel attend this IDS at their 12-15 months prior to their date of separation. 

Spouses are welcome to attend.

Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard counterparts brief to provide information on additional avenues for Reg AF personnel. 

Curriculum covers a variety of topics to include information on base agency capabilities, military compensation, retraining, commissioning, base of preference, etc. ​​​​​​​

The IDS will be offered once per month to meet the needs of the base populace regardless of unit of assignment. If the IDS is required more frequently dates/times will be added to the schedule.
