Foreign National requests must be submitted 20 duty days before the date of visit.

Once the checks are completed, sponsors can obtain the pass-through Visitor Control Center (VCC) open 7 days a week from 6 a,m. - 10 p.m.

Note: Passes for foreign visitors are not obtainable at the gates to include after hours. Please ensure flight plans/itinerary allows sponsors and visitors time to head to the VCC for the pass.

Once Foreign National visitor is cleared for base access, Visitor Control Center Personnel will contact the sponsor.

Needing ride share or food delivery services?

Uber, UberEATS, DoorDash, and Instacart can access base for delivery services thru Gate 5 (Exit 12 off I-25 - Central Ave).  The delivery driver must show proof of pick up or delivery on base. The driver and passenger(s) who do not already have an approved access credential will have an on-the-spot background check conducted prior to allowing entry.

All DoD Retired Civilian Personnel not in possession of a base access credential will receive a base access pass at the Visitor Control Center (Exit 11 off I-25 Randall Ave.  & Pershing Blvd.) DoD Civilian Retirees with provide two types of identification (Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, Social Security Card, etc.) and proof of retirement (SF-50, Notification of Personnel Action, etc.).

VHIC holders & VA Caregivers will proceed to the Visitor Control Center (Exit 11 off I-25 – Randall Ave. & Pershing Blvd.).

VHIC holders & VA Caregivers are no longer allowed to sponsor guests unless they possess another affiliation such as Retired Military or DOD Dependent.

Veterans will need:

• A valid VA-issued Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC) that displays Medal of Honor”, “Purple Heart”, “Former POW” or “Service Connected”
• A valid driver’s license
• Vehicle registration and insurance

Caregivers will need:

• To be enrolled as the primary caregiver in the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers.
• Must have the VA-issued letter on their person indicating they are the primary caregiver
• A valid driver’s license

You left your CAC at home or in your computer?

If you've forgotten your CAC, it's essential to retrieve it, as it is required for access. If retrieval is not possible, please visit the VCC. For after-hours access, proceed to Gate 5. CAC holders are authorized to self-sponsor onto base by providing a valid Driver’s License, State Issued Identification or Passport.

You're a contracting company and need access for a new employee or crew?

Contact your designated sponsor/point of contact (POC) for base access.

You are hosting an event with civilians who don't have base access?

Fill out a Base Access List (BAL) and provide it to Pass and Identification 7 days before the event to ensure it is processed. BALs will be processed for 10 or more individuals. Contact Pass and Identification at 773-1853 for more information.

What if I need assistance when the VCC is closed?

Proceed to the Gate 5 with your inquiries. Gate 5 is authorized to issue base passes after-hours.
