COLONEL TREVOR W. FLINT Colonel Trevor Flint is a recent graduate of Air War College, Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama and has been selected to command the 90th Maintenance Group, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Colonel Flint entered the Air Force after receiving his commission through the Air Force ROTC program and earned the Command and Control badge during his first assignment as a squadron adjutant and section commander. In 1994, he was one of 20 officers selected Air Force-wide to attend Undergraduate Space and Missile Training, where he graduated as the Honor Graduate in May of 1995. Following ICBM Initial Qualification Training, Colonel Flint was certified for Missile Combat Crew duty and served in various positions within the 91st Operations Group including Crew Commander, Instructor, Flight Commander and Codes Controller. During his assignment to the 381st Training Group, Colonel Flint was an ICBM Initial Qualification Training Instructor and Flight Commander and was instrumental in the 392d Training Squadron and the Group earning 'Outstanding' ratings during the November 2001 Headquarters AETC Operational Readiness Inspection. Colonel Flint has served on the headquarters staff at United States Strategic Command and Air Force Space Command. At USSTRATCOM he was responsible for developing Emergency Action Procedures which provide critical nuclear command and control procedures to the Nation's nuclear forces and also played a key role in producing the President's Nuclear Decision Handbook, the nation's most important and critical nuclear command and control document. He was the Command Lead for Land Based Strategic Deterrent at AFSPC, defining the operational capabilities and monitoring acquisition efforts during the 10 million dollar study of the follow-on system for the Minuteman III ICBM. Colonel Flint has commanded an ICBM Maintenance Operations Squadron and an ICBM Missile Maintenance Squadron. Prior to attending Air War College, he was the Deputy Commander, 90th Operations Group, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Colonel Flint is a master missile officer and a Space Professional Level III officer, Command Space badge, with over 200 combat alerts in the Minuteman III Command Data Buffer and Rapid Execution and Combat Targeting weapons systems.
