Colonel TYTONIA S. MOORE

Colonel Tytonia “Ty” Moore is the Commander, 90th Operations Group, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The group is comprised of three missile squadrons and an operations support squadron providing on-alert nuclear combat capability to the Commander, United States Strategic Command in support of U.S. national objectives. He leads the group in safe, secure, and reliable operation of 150 Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles operated from 15 remote missile alert facilities dispersed over a 9,600 square-mile area across Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado.

Colonel Moore received his commission from the United States Air Force Officer Training School in June 1998.  He has served as a Titan IV-B upper stage controller for Defense Support Program and MILSTAR satellite launches, Titan IV-B instructor, ICBM flight commander, and Emergency Actions evaluator.  He has various staff experiences at the wing-level, 20th Air Force, United States Strategic Command, Headquarters Air Force, and Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.  Colonel Moore has command experience at the squadron level.  Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Moore was the Director of Nuclear Weapons Development and Assessments located within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters located at the Pentagon, Washington DC.  Colonel Moore is married to former Tonika Clark of Collinsville, MS.  They have two daughters, Tiya and Chloe, and a son, Isaiah.
