The B-17F "Memphis Belle" Flying Fortress was used during World War II and now sits on display in The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Sept. 4, 2019, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The Memphis Bell was the first heavy bomber to return to the United States after flying 25 combat missions over Europe during World War II. Some Airmen from F.E.
