Military spouses, new to the F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., community, receive a briefing at Outdoor Recreation during the Military Spouse Orientation Tour June 19, 2014. The Airmen & Family Readiness Center hosts quarterly Military Spouse Orientation Tours for recently arrived spouses of Airmen on base. Through Airmen’s Eyes: Warren Defenders close-up
Company Grade Officers from a variety of career fields participated in a 90th Security Forces Group immersion tour July 12, 2014, led by security forces CGOs, to learn about the diverse mission set the defenders execute every day at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. 90th SFG Task Response Force Airmen are posted up in the front with camouflage gear to blend into the environment for the small unit tactics practical scenario. Participants carry fake blue guns and wear heavy helmets and vests to gain a more realistic perspective of what security forces takes on day to day.

Technical Sgt. Ryan Goodridge, 90th Security Forces Squadron kennel master, explains to 2nd Lt. Nicholas Vaughn, 321st Missile Squadron, his role as the suspect in the working dog demonstration. As directed to do so for the demonstration, Vaughn did not comply with the kennel master’s request to walk forward at the sound of his voice and instead ran in the opposite direction. The master let his dog loose and bit Vaughn’s arm, protected by the bite suit.
