In order to provide relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Presidential Memorandum was issued on August 8, 2020 and guidance followed from Internal Revenue Service on August 28, 2020, to temporarily defer Social Security (Old Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI)) tax withholdings. 2010 scholarship
F. E Warren had not one but two winners when the results from the Air Force Club Membership Scholarship were released Friday, September 17. Chelsea Nutting, daughter of Lt Col Christopher Nutting, commander, 90th Comptroller Squadron is among this years winners. Every year, the Trail’s End Club advertises the Air Force Club Membership Scholarship contest where 25 academic scholarships of $1,000 are given to the top essays submitted by club members or their immediate family members. Entrants must be club members or bon-a-fide dependent family member enrolled in a college of university for the upcoming academic year. This year’s contest essay topic was, “What does it mean to be a part of the Air Force family?” Their winning essays and all others are located at www.afclubs.net. (Courtesy photo)
