Sentinel Task Force to officially open new facility

Sentinel Task Force Detachment 10 will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new facility at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, March 11, 2026. The event represents the completion of the first military construction project for the Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile program, a key initiative in modernizing the country’s strategic capabilities.

WHY:
The ceremony marks the opening of a Sentinel Task Force facility at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, representing a significant milestone in the modernization of the nation’s strategic deterrent.

BACKGROUND:
The Sentinel Task Force facility will support activation and integration efforts associated with the Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile program. As the first Sentinel MILCON project to reach completion, the facility represents an important step in ensuring a safe, secure, and effective strategic deterrence mission.
