F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Members of the media are invited to observe a portion of the Advanced Recapture Recovery Operational Warfighter exercise, Aug. 21, 2025, at Camp Guernsey, Wyoming.
ARROW, now in its third year, is a dynamic and realistic training exercise designed to enhance the skills of Convoy Response Force teams from Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming, and Malmstrom AFB, Montana. These teams are responsible for safeguarding critical military assets during transport within the expansive missile fields of their respective bases.
During ARROW, Convoy Response Force teams face a series of challenging scenarios, including simulated ambushes and attacks, designed to test their asset protection procedures. The exercise employs a "train-pause-train" methodology, allowing cadre to provide immediate feedback and instruction, maximizing the learning experience.
Key aspects of ARROW 2025 include realistic training scenarios. These include exercises where CRF teams will demonstrate their ability to recapture and protect resources in high-pressure situations, showing how teams work to ensure asset security, as well as Joint Light Tactical Vehicle deployment in a simulated combat environment.
