F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- The 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs Office will host the second in a series of media day events at the Alfa-01 Missile Alert Facility (actual site subject to change), Aug. 13, 2025, offering a unique look into daily operations and the Airmen who support the nation’s nuclear deterrence mission.
This event will take place in the 319th Missile Squadron’s area of responsibility, north of Burns, Wyoming. The visit will include guided tours of surface-level facilities, launch control capsules, mission briefings, and interview opportunities with security forces, maintainers, and missileers.
Key Details:
- Transportation: Transportation from closest city (either Cheyenne or Burns, details TBD) to the MAF will be provided to facilitate access
- Interviews: Opportunities with missileers and facility personnel
- Security Note: All media equipment must be pre-vetted; some items may be restricted in sensitive areas such as the capsule.
