F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Members of the media are invited to attend and cover an MH-139 Grey Wolf Initial Operational Test & Evaluation (IOT&E) event Friday, April 18, 2025, at Camp Guernsey, Wyoming. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and run through approximately 2 p.m. However, timelines may shift due to operational considerations.
The MH-139 Grey Wolf is the Air Force’s newest helicopter, designed to replace the aging UH-1N Huey fleet. The April 18 exercise will feature the aircraft in operational training scenarios with pilots, aircrew, and security forces members.
Media will have the opportunity to:
- Observe the Grey Wolf in live training exercises
- Interview pilots, aircrew and security forces personnel
- Tour the aircraft and support equipment
- (Tentative) Experience an orientation flight on the MH-139 Grey Wolf, pending mission requirements and safety considerations
