Wyoming Wanderers: Boulder Flatirons

Once hikers reach the top of the First and Second Flatiron trail, there are views of the Rocky Mountains and more surrounding Flatirons. The Flatirons are made of deposited sandstone and conglomerate and were formed during the uplift of the Front Range Mountains between 64 and 70 million years ago.
