Angel tree

“Angel ornaments” hang on the angel tree in the F.E. Warren Base Exchange Nov. 25, 2013. Warren’s First Sergeant’s Council sponsors the Angel Tree Program, which provides assistance to local families in need during the holidays. The Angel Tree, located in the Exchange, contains the wishes of 112 children, 30 of them from deployed families. On each “angel ornament,” an information card contains a child’s age, gender, clothing sizes and special gift requests. Donating individuals may choose one or more angels and purchase unwrapped gifts with the angel attached to them. The gifts are then left in the box next to the Angel Tree and will be delivered to the identified families at the end of the campaign, Dec. 9, 2013. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Stacy Foster)
