Col. Tracey Hayes, 90th Missile Wing commander, displays the Omaha Trophy to approximately 300 Airmen at the base theater May 6, 2014. Admiral Cecil Haney, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, presented the award to Hayes and explained the accolades of the Mighty Ninety in 2013, which included two successful missile test launches; overseeing 443 weapon system modifications; and identifying a helicopter fix that was implemented across the other ICBM wings. The Omaha Trophy has been presented annually since 1971 and is awarded to the USSTRATCOM wing that best demonstrates the highest standards of performance based on meritorious achievements, safety, community involvement and humanitarian actions accomplished throughout the previous year. This is the third year in-a-row the Mighty Ninety earned such an award. (U.S. Air Force photo by R.J. Oriez)
