Guardian Challenge scoreposting

Members of the 90th Space Wing are greeted by Gen. C. Robert Kehler, Air Force Space Command commander, May 7 on the Peterson Air Force Base,Colo., flightline. The teams prepared for three days of Guardian Challenge events, including a golf tournament, space and missile forum and awards banquet May 9. The GC competition pits the command’s space and missile wings against each other to see who’s the best in areas of expertise, including security forces, communications, missile combat or satellite operations. Warren’s Guardian Challenge team scored 4020 points, but lost to the Grizzlies at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., with 4111 points. Congratulations to our sister wing to the north for a back-to-back Blanchard trophy win. “I was honored to have participated with such a dedicated team,” said Col. Mike Morgan, 90th Space Wing commander. “They worked hard, as did all the project officers, trainers, mascots, and those that supported the effort in some fashion. They all represented the Mighty Ninety exceptionally well. Please pat them all on the back when you see them” (Photo by Dennis Howk)
