Travis Beckwith, 90th Civil Engineer Squadron cultural resources manager, in the document vault of the F. E. Warren curation facility known as “the bunker” stores blueprints dating back to 1908 March 27. Signs on the pillar next to Beckwith warn visitors to the vault to take notes in pencils only. “We are an archive.” Beckwith said. “Technically we are open to the public. We’ve got folks who come here every once in a while to do research.” (U.S. Air Force photo by R.J. Oriez)
