It’s a HICS of a system
Airman 1st Class John Mcconnico and Airman 1st Class Wilfredo Hernandez Mendez, 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron Hardened Intersite Cable System technicians, train to complete a wire splice Jan. 31, 2019, at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. The 90th MMXS HICS team is responsible to maintaining relationship with landowners, yearly inspections of the cables in the field, emergency repairs and regular upkeep of stored cables. The cables run throughout the F.E. Warren Missile Complex and are part of the communication system between Launch Control Centers and an ICBM at a Launch Facility.
