Buffalo soldiers: Vigilant, honorable warriors

This buffalo soldier statue went up outside Warren’s main gate last month. The Wyoming Buffalo Soldier Association, with help from Cheyenne and Warren, plans to create a memorial to the buffalo soldiers that were stationed here in the early 1900s (Photo by Airman 1st Class Daryl Knee).
