90th MW Police Week 2018
Senior Airman Tyler Hiltner, 90th Security Forces Group defender, and Senior Airman Francisco Chavez, 90th SFG defender, race to the finish line of the six-mile run, walk or ruck for police week, May 17, 2018, on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo. The Police Week run, walk or ruck was a six-mile course around the northern perimeter of the base. To place first, second or third in the competition, each Airmen’s ruck had to weigh 35 pounds. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week.
