The Department of Defense is currently experiencing several challenges this summer season concerning pick-up and delivery of household goods and personal property. All military services are experiencing cancellations, push-backs, refusals and delayed deliveries for government arranged moves.

Due to the challenges associated with HHG/PPTY pick-up and deliveries, the joint personal property shipping office has advised delays by as much as 30 days can be expected. They have implemented certain procedures for the personal property processing office to follow in order to assist with the summer surge.

The JPPSO is working closely with air staff to ensure customer needs are being met to the fullest extent possible. Clear communication and patience is critical from all parties so the issues at hand can be solved in a timely and professional manner.

The 90th Logistics Readiness Squadron PPPO will assist you in your move to make it as smooth as possible during this summer surge.

To assist you with the issues, the PPPO will require customers to schedule HHG/PPTY pack, pick-up and deliveries at least 30 days in advance. This will assist JPPSO in securing commercial carriers.

If you have any questions or concerns, call the 90th LRS PPPO at 773-3824 or 773-6418.
