F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. --
Outdoor recreation hosted a Basic Recreation Adventure Training camp March 31 through April 4 for children ages eight and older who were on Spring Break. The children were given the opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours and experience the various outdoor activities the local area has to offer.
Each day was packed with activities, one day was a snow day - where the children had the opportunity to go cross-country skiing and snow tubing in Vedauwoo - and another was a designated "camping" day - where they participated in fishing, kayaking and roasting marshmallows at the base lake.
By the end of the trip, the children had enjoyed a host of activities and had a greater sense of what the area had to offer.
