The 90th Missile Wing Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office hosted a confidence course April 15 in the Freedom Hall Fitness Center. The confidence course was designed to bring awareness to sexual assault as one of the base's Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities.

The confidence course was a simple set of 10 activities - including shooting basketball hoops, doing push-ups and jumping over low hurdles.

"The course was designed as a fun way to raise awareness with easy-to-do obstacles that anyone can accomplish," said Mary Brown, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator.

At the end of each obstacle, participants were asked a question to open their eyes to the realities of sexual assault. One of the questions, "How many times more likely are victims of sexual assault to consider suicide?" - which is four times more likely - was designed to raise the awareness of the aftermath of sexual assault on the victims.
