Calling all hikers, bikers, campers and adventurers, If you are someone who enjoys getting out of the house and embracing nature, then F.E. Warren's Outdoor Adventure Program is just what you need.

The Outdoor Adventure program is hosted by the Outdoor Recreation here on base. The program is designed to get Airman out of the house and to help them experience what the outdoors has to offer, from horseback riding to ATV adventures.

"One of the goals of the program is to help build Airman morale," said Amy Dent, the Outdoor Rec programmer. "We plan to establish event rotations during the week to offer the chance for a greater amount of people to experience one of our trips."

With the new event rotation schedule, Airman who have a varying work schedule and don't work the Monday to Friday schedule will have the opportunity to participate in various events hosted during the week.

There are many events being planned for the coming months, from camping trips to ATV trail riding to Zombie Paintballing for Halloween. Upcoming events this month include an ATV trip, a hike around Turtle Rock, and two mountain biking trips.

"Outdoor Rec is always looking for new input for what events to host," Dent said. "We are open to setting up new events as long as there is interest for it.

Outdoor Rec works with organizations to create unit-sponsored events catering to the people in the organization to help build morale and cohesion.
