F. E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. --
There are miles of opportunity for outdoor activity in Cheyenne when using the Greater Cheyenne Greenway.
More than 32 miles of paved path connects many of Cheyenne's parks and neighborhoods, with plans for additional developments in the future.
While some of the Greenway is connected by short stretches of roadway, the 10-foot-wide paved path is mostly separated from motorized traffic; many intersections with roads are bypassed either by tunnel or bridge.
The Greenway travels throughout Cheyenne, allowing non-motorized travel across many high traffic areas, as well as offering easy crossing of the train tracks downtown.
Many activities are made easily accessible to those utilizing the Greenway, such as soccer fields and baseball diamonds, a Frisbee golf course and fishing at numerous locations.
