"Air Force professional [associations] are important to Air Force people and the mission. These organizations enhance the professional development of our Airmen and provide visibility for our air, space and cyberspace missions at a grass roots-level around the nation." -- Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Rodney McKinley.

As Airmen, we must continue to grow in order to become better leaders, mentors and wingmen throughout our career. As a senior NCO, you are in a unique position to not only affect squadron leadership but the leadership at the group and wing levels as well. This is where being a Top 3 member can benefit not only yourself but all members of your squadron, group and wing.

As a member of the Top 3, you can find satisfaction in knowing that senior NCO's and selects here continuously volunteer their personal time to assist and support the men and women of Air Force Global Strike Command and their families. Volunteering for committee work or becoming a board member of the Warren Top 3 not only helps develop skills needed to advance in any aspect of life, but places you in a position to potentially implement changes directly affecting Airmen and their families. Taking an active role allows you to make a difference within the military environment and local community.

The purpose of the Top 3 organization is to promote communication, professionalism, responsibility, camaraderie, prestige and esprit de corps among the enlisted corps. This association actively supports the entire enlisted population through professional development, information flow, morale activities and community service. We also strive to work with other organizations on the installation, official and unofficial, active duty and dependent, military and civilian, to build a stronger community for ourselves, our families, our coworkers, and our community. This association works as a group to ensure senior leadership is aware of the enlisted force's views and concerns, and strives to positively influence personnel-related policy decisions.

Events that the Top 3 is specifically involved with include the Annual Awards Banquet, monthly Veterans Affairs Hospital visits, Airman Leadership School and NCO mentorship luncheons, Cheyenne Frontier Days, base picnics and other wing and base fundraisers. Additionally, the Top 3 annually plans and coordinates the senior NCO Induction ceremony and contributes financially to wing events such as heritage luncheons, senior leadership going away gifts and Community College of the Air Force graduations. The Top 3 has also contributed to the Minot relief effort in response to the floods.

As a member of the Top 3, you will gain connection and opportunities. I challenge all senior NCOs and selects to come on out and attend the monthly meetings. Get involved, make a difference, and be proud to represent your unit, base and local community.

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. in the Trails End Club. You can stay connected with the Top 3 by "liking" our Facebook page via:
