F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- F.E. Warren claimed victory in the Rocky Mountain Flag Football tournament Oct. 29 at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado. The team consisted of Airmen from the 90th Missile Wing as well as the 20th Air Force.
The nine-Airman team played three games, one against each of the other teams in the tournament. Warren played against teams from Fort Carson, Peterson AFB and the Air Force Academy.
At the end of tournament play, F.E. Warren, Fort Carson and the Academy teams were tied at two wins and one loss. F.E. Warren won the tournament by having the lowest point spread between the other teams.
A traveling plaque was presented to the team at the end of the tournament. The team will hold onto the plaque until a winner is decided in the basketball tournament next year.
