F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE ABSE, Wyo. -- The 90th Security Forces Group held a final guard mount and retreat ceremony May 20 at the base’s Prado Plaza, as part of National Police Week and to honor fallen security forces men and women.
Col. Christopher Corley, 90th Security Forces Group commander, opened the ceremony by explaining the significance of Police Week, why the week includes defenders and the importance of remembering those who passed.
During the observance, an honor guard made up of security forces Airmen ceremoniously folded and retired an American Flag in honor of police officers who lost their lives.
