  Youth soccer
An instructional program designed to teach children ages 3 to 4 soccer fundamentals is offered now through Sept. 16. The class is limited to the first 20 children to sign up. The cost is $35 per child and includes all practices and scrimmages, t-shirts for each child and a parent, a soccer ball and snacks after each session. For more information, call 773-2564.

Atlas silo tour
The public can take a free tour of the Atlas E missile silo Sept. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. Tours include all accessible areas including the missile bay, generator room, crew quarters and command center of the once-active site. It is handicap accessible. For more information, call 970-397-8541.

Hemp seed warning
Blueberry Power Chobani Yogurt contains hulled hemp seeds. As per Air Force Instruction 44-121, use of hemp seed and/or hemp seed oil products are prohibited because they may contain varying levels of tetrahydrocannabinol, a substance which can result in a positive urine analysis screening.

Freedom hall painting
Painting is underway in the Freedom Hall Fitness Center weight room, parent-child room, aerobics room and hallways from approximately 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. The parent-child room and aerobics room will be closed from through Sept. 13 or until areas are finished. The weight room will be open; however, please be cautious of workers and their equipment. Better Body/Better Life
The Health & Welness Center hosts Better Body/Better Life modules, which are part of the Air Force Weight Management Program. There are five modules, each designated a color and that cover different topics, which can be attended in any order. Attendees learn about nutrition, behavioral modification and physical activity to lose weight. The Orange Module is scheduled for Sept. 10 from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Undergraduate flying training
Eligible active-duty officers interested in undergraduate flying training must apply by Nov. 29 to be considered by the UFT selection board, which convenes at Joint Base San Antonio - Randolph, Texas, Jan. 14, 2014. Parenting class
A three-week class offering parenting lessons is offered Sept. 16, 23 and 30 at the Balfour Beatty Communities Lifeworks House at 1927A Yuma Court. Attendees should plan on attending all three sessions. For more information, call 773-4228.

Drowning Pool concert
A free Drowning Pool concert will be held in the Fall Hall Community Center Sept. 11 at 5:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the USO.

 
Stress management class
A stress prevention class is offered Sept. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 90th Medical Group Medical Treatment Facility Mental Health Clinic. The class will focus on learning to deal with stress and discussing protective factors. For more information or to RSVP, call 773-2998.

Tuition Assistance window delayed
Airmen applying for tuition assistance in fiscal 2014 will see several changes in both eligibility for and administration of the program. Due to these changes, the application window for classes beginning on or after Oct. 1 will not open until Sept. 9 to allow for system updates. Same-sex spouse IDs
Same-sex spouses of Air Force military members, eligible civilian employees and military retirees may be enrolled in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System by their sponsors and get their dependent identification card.
