Airmen from the 90th Missile Wing came together to pay their respects to Airman 1st Class Dominique Hudson March 21 during a memorial service in the Peacekeeper High Bay, Bldg. 1501. Hudson was a member of the 90th Security Forces Group Tactical Response Force.

During the memorial service, many of Hudson's close friends had the opportunity to speak to the audience and let them know the effect Hudson had on their lives. The main speaker during the service was Hudson's grandfather, Aubrey Hudson.

"In times like these, the only comfort we have to lean on is the fact that only time heals all wounds," Aubrey Hudson said. "I don't know how long it will take, but I know that someday it will all be better."

After the emotional speeches of remembrance, Staff Sgt. Brian Nafziger, 90th SFG TRF team lead assaulter, sniper and breacher; officially retired Hudson's Talon number.

A Talon number is a person-specific number that designates an individual as a member of the TRF and no two Airmen will ever have the same number at a base. The retiring of his Talon number is a final goodbye to Hudson.
