Warren sets the bar for new UEI

F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. --  During an all call Sept. 8, 2014, in the F.E. Warren base theater, Col. Carl Jones, 90th Missile Wing vice commander, announced the Mighty Ninety earned an overall "EFFECTIVE" rating in the wing-wide Unit Effectiveness Inspection.

F.E. Warren underwent a Unit Effectiveness Inspection conducted by the Air Force Global Strike Command Inspector General.

The inspection's grading focused on F.E. Warren's ability to execute its mission, manage resources, improve the unit and lead its people.

Two virtual inspections, an on-site training visit and an onsite security forces exercise took place during the inspection cycle.

This is the first missile wing to go through a UEI, making Warren the test case, Jones said.

"Even though they set the base line with us, we set the bar extremely high for the other wings to follow," Jones said.

Lt. Gen. Stephen Wilson, commander, AFGSC, shared a message with the 90th MW on their inspection results.

"Congratulations on your impressive results during the recent Unit Effectiveness Inspection Capstone! This achievement reflects the superior expertise the wing provides day to day," he said." Being recognized by the AFGSC/IG with an effective rating on your UEI Capstone is a significant accomplishment and exemplifies our command's vision of an elite, highly-disciplined team. I commend you for a job well done!"

During the UEI, inspectors recognized several superior performers and teams, whose knowledge, perseverance and professionalism contributed greatly to the unit's compliance with directives and high state of mission success.
