790 trumps TRF, becomes new football champions

F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. --  The intermural, flag-football championship was held Oct. 5 on the softball field near Freedom Hall Fitness Center. The 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron team faced off against the undefeated defending champions, the 790th MSFS Tactical Response Force team.

In the first game, the 790th gave the TRF their first loss in the season, beating them 8 to 0. In accordance with the double elimination rules of the Warren intermural sports, a second game had to be played to determine the 2015 champion.

In a close-fought game that came down to a final score in the last 2 minutes, the 790th came out triumphant, winning 14-13. The 790th took home the trophy and have bragging rights until next year.
