Airmen honor vets at base cemetery

F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. --  "Once and Airman, always an Airman," is a common mantra in the U.S. Air Force and for Soldiers, Sailors and Marines too. This phrase holds true for the service men and women who are no longer with us, but who will always remembered."

Airmen of the 90th Missile Wing Honor Guard and 90th Force Support  Squadron observed this Veterans Day by placing an American Flag at each veteran's grave in the base cemetery and rendering a salute to each Nov. 9.

"They paved the way for us to be here," said Tech. Sgt. Amy Gray, 90th Force Support Squadron
Sustainment Services Flight NCO-in-charge. "It's a tradition here and all over the U.S."

Mighty Ninety Airmen continue this tradition for Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year.
