Lt. Col. Jared Bishop relinquished command of the 319th Missile Squadron to Lt. Col. Sterling Williams in a change of command ceremony at the Air Park at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, June 27, 2024.

Prior to assuming command of the 319 MS, Williams served as the Chief of Advanced Programs and Joint Wargame Analyst at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. Bishop will be moving on to a senior development education fellowship program at Las Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal change of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
