Lt. Col. Andrew Cooper relinquished command of the 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron to Maj. Michael Hampton in a change of command ceremony at the Maintenance High Bay on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, June 11, 2024.

Hampton most recently served as a Policy Advisor within the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy, at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. Cooper is moving on to command the 31st Munitions Squadron at Aviano Air Force Base, Italy.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal change of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
