F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- -- Lt. Col. Jason Pettengill assumed command of the 37th Helicopter Squadron during a change of command June 6, 2024, in the 37 HS building on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.
Prior to his current position, Pettengill was the 582nd Operations Support Squadron director of operations.
Lt. Col. Kathleen Tenpenny, the outgoing commander of 37 HS, will be moving on to be the Deputy Division Chief of Bases and Forces Division at U.S. Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa.
A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
