Starting June 15, anyone with a cell phone may receive an audio historic tour of the base and museum anytime that is convenient for them and in their own vehicle.

No tour guide is needed and the tours are available every day, all day. The only thing people need is a map of the base provided by the museum and a personal cell phone.
While the use of cell phones by drivers of vehicles while driving on base is prohibited, drivers can use hands-free headsets.

The free tour service is provided by Guide by Cell. The only cost is personal cell phone minutes.

To take the tour, dial 408-794-3886 and follow the base map provided by the Warren ICBM and Heritage Museum.

This technology became available with the support of the Cheyenne Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and The Wrangler and Corral West and working in conjunction with the Cheyenne Area Museum Directors Group and the Warren ICBM and Heritage Museum.

In addition to the base tour, people can learn more about the museum exhibits using this service. Through this service, everyone can learn about the different types of missiles at the front gate, know who the base was named after and learn more about some of the famous people stationed at Warren.

For more information or a base map, call the Warren ICBM and Heritage Museum at 773-2980.
