A change in cab companies prompted the Rising 6 organization to redesign the Arrive Alive card.

Arrive Alive is a drunk-driving prevention program. Airmen who go out, drink and find their plans to get home safely fall through can use their Arrive Alive card to receive a free cab drive to a safe place, preferably their home.

"It is always good to have something you can fall back on," said Senior Airman Andrew Contreras, 90th Security Forces Group and Arrive Alive program team lead. "Everyone should have a plan prior to going out on the town."

The cards are only intended for use from a drinking establishment to a place of residence, not from bar to bar.

Cowboy Shuttle is the new company of the Arrive Alive Program.

The new cards conveniently have three Cowboy Shuttle numbers so users can effectively reach a cab driver.

"Plan before you party, and trust your wingman; t1hey are there for you," Airman Contreras said.

The cards are still available through first sergeants.

Current sponsors of the Arrive Alive Program include Rising 6, Military Affairs Committee, Anheuser-Busch Company, NCO Association Chapter 1169, Warren Spouses Club and the Outlaw Saloon.

"In case your plans fall through, you can always rely on the Arrive Alive cards," Airman Contreras said.
