The 90th Civil Engineer Squadron's self-help center is still a place Warren members can go for housing assistance, even after a cutback in hours-of-operation and services offered.

The center, located in Bldg. 330, the housing maintenance building, offers on-base members free equipment to maintain their houses according to base standards.

"There are plenty of opportunities to improve the outside of your house," said Sarisa Golden, 90th CES. "There's no reason why lawns on base shouldn't be in tip-top shape."

The center will be open Monday though Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Large equipment may be checked out for two days at a time.

"All the equipment is free and it's here to help, why not make the best of it?" Mrs. Golden said.
