The 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron defensive lineman, Jonathon Allen, pressures 90th Civil Engineer Squadron quarterback Dan Conrad late in the 2nd half of Tuesday’s game. With the 790th MSFS leading 13 to 12 and only 27 ticks left on the clock, Conrad meticulously marched his squad down the field to try and take the lead.
Possession switched two more times in what some players called, “the longest 15 seconds of any football game,” before Conrad helped CE take the late 19 to 13 lead.
The 790th MSFS quarterback John Sullivan made quick work in marching down the field with a deep strike to the goal line and the hopes of punching it into the endzone on the final play of the game. But CE’s Jan Minnis slammed the door shut when he knocked the game-tying pass away from MSFS’s Wayne Fultz as time expired.
