Travel office offers discounted tickets Published June 23, 2011 By Staff Sgt. Mike Tryon 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs F. E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- While the weather is nice this summer, Mighty Ninety Airmen and their families have the opportunity to get out and enjoy it. A visit to 90th Force Support Squadron's Information, Tickets and Travel office could result in saving money while participating in summer activities. The ITT office, located in the Fall Hall Community Center, offers a variety of free or discounted tickets not only around Cheyenne, Wyo., but also in the outlying areas. "Right now, Elitch Gardens is offering a buy-three-get-one-free special," said Dawn Morse, 90th FSS ITT representative. "Occasionally, we get other free tickets, so it never hurts to stop by and check. "We have [discounted] tickets for events ranging from dinner theaters to sports venues to theme parks and concerts," she added. "If there is something going on, chances are we can get you tickets." Some Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen and their families here may want to use the Internet to search for deals and discounts; however, the ITT office may be able to get better rates. "Searching online may seem more convenient, but you may end up paying convenience and online fees that we just don't have," Ms. Morse said. Along with the discounts offered for events in the local area, the ITT office works with outdoor recreation and other base agencies to provide savings on trips those agencies host. Here's how the process works: Individuals need to visit ITT to be put in their system. Once in the system, ITT personnel can start looking for ways to save members money. "You tell us where you want to go, or what you want to see, and we'll try to get you there," Ms. Morse said. "While credit or debit cards can be used to purchase tickets, we recommend using cash or check." Very few events limit how many tickets can be purchased through the ITT office. "Typically, the places offering a limited number of tickets are out of the local area," she said. For more information about what the ITT office has to offer, visit them in the community center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, on-line at http://www.funatwarren.com , or call 773-5656.
