Warren's Fall Hall Community Center, located off Randall Avenue across from the Base Theater, offers its patrons various activities to use at their leisure.

The community center offers laser tag, rock climbing, video games, meetings, ticket sales, billiards, foosball, table tennis, using a batting cage or dance area, and a place to sit down and drink a cup of coffee or any other beverage of one's choice.

"We try to have a little bit of something for anyone who comes to use our facility," said Marsha Dial, 90th Force Support Squadron Fall Hall Community Center manager. "We even offer archery and a place for remote control [car] racing."

The majority of activities in the community center are free of charge, but there are a few which have a cost associated with their use -- the batting cages, archery, rock climbing and laser tag.

The batting cage costs $6 per half hour, said Sam DeKemper, 90th Force Support Squadron Fall Hall Community Center recreational aid. For large groups or team practices, the cost is $20 for two hours.

There is a $15 annual membership fee and a one-time, $12 certification fee to use the archery range.

"The archery range is located in the same building [Building 313] as the RC racing track and it's first-come, first-served," Dial said. "The only time RC racing is not allowed at the same time as archery is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, because the building is reserved for those seeking [archery] certification."

Belaying, which requires a harness and allows the individual to climb to the top of the rock wall, costs $5 per half hour. To belay, climbers must be at least 18, and complete a $12 certification class, which must be made by appointment.

Another option for rock climbing is bouldering, which allows climbers to climb up to 10 feet off the ground, but does not require the use of a climbing harness. The cost associated to boulder is $4 for the day.

"One of our most popular activities is laser tag," DeKemper said. "Depending on the size of the group and the amount of time people want to play, the prices vary. For those who've reserved a 'party room' and want to play laser tag, we will let them play and then figure out which payment option is the cheapest for them."

Fall Hall Community Center is also available for party reservations. For groups of fewer than 25 people, it costs $40 for two hours; groups of 25 people or more, the cost is $55 for two hours.

"When people call to make party reservations, we have them come in and pick up a packet to fill out, which helps us meet their needs," Dial said.

Also located in the Fall Hall Community Center is the Information and Ticket Office -- an office which helps Airmen purchase tickets to various venues and events at a discounted price.

Since the start of summer, there have been changes to the hours of operation for the community center.

The coffee shop is open from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The rest of the center is open and activities are offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

The community center is open to everyone; however, the center's staff requires anyone 16 and younger be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
