F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- The base clinic has officially finished its renovations and opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony July 21, 2022, on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.
Planning for the renovations began in October 2018, and the initial wall breaking ceremony marking the start of construction occurred Feb. 10, 2020.
The two year project modernized the facility in a number of ways to improve the patient experience.
“For this incredible modernization project, the 90th Medical Group worked closely with a skilled design team to create a plan that would enhance both the patient and staff experience,” said Col. Deborah Davidson, commander of the 90 MDG. “Along with the improved layout and systems, new state-of-the-art equipment has been installed throughout the facility”
The facility saw new plumbing systems installed as well having its electrical and communications systems improved, with the expected benefits of reduced traveling distances as well as more patient privacy.
