Major Andrew Cooper assumed command of the 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron during a change of command ceremony July 14, 2022, in the Maintenance High Bay building.

Cooper is a recent graduate of the Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Munitions and Missile Maintenance Officer Assignments at the Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.

Lt. Col. Claus Fasting, outgoing 90 MMXS commander, is remaining in his position at the 90th Maintenance Group, Deputy Commander.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
