The Airmen of F.E. Warren Air Force Base, along with their families, gathered for a night of fun and celebration during Patriot Fest, July 4, 2022, on base.

The night consisted of a free music concert, activities for all ages, food vendors, and a meet and greet opportunity for some families to meet the performing artists."It was an honor to be able to coordinate this event. It was an all-hands-on-deck effort and it's always a good time when we can give back to the military families of F.E Warren,” said Steve Taylor, F. E. Warren AFB Patriot Fest project officer. "It was a great event and I would like to thank the artists for an amazing performance."

The concert was coordinated through Air Force Entertainment Live Stage, which had Patriot Fest visit Peterson and Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, then finishing off strong with the Mighty Ninety. The artists performing included Runaway June, John Michael Montgomery, and the headliner of the night, Trace Adkins.

“I would like to give a big thank you to all the military members out there,” said Trace Adkins as closing remarks to Patriot Fest. “You are the freedom force and I would like to wish you, and the people of Cheyenne, a happy Independence Day.”

The night ended with the Cheyenne Frontier Days and the City of Cheyenne fireworks display at the CFD grounds, which was viewable from the concert as a way for everyone in the community to celebrate independence day.
