The base honor guard welcomed eight new recruits during a graduation ceremony held at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base cemetery March 18, 2022.

Each graduate received a certificate presented by Col. Catherine Barrington, 90th Missile Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Nicholas Taylor, 90 MW command chief.

The Airmen spent two weeks learning the proper movements and actions that every honor guard member performs when supporting military funerals, marching in parades and posting or retreating of colors for retirements or a change of command. At the ceremony, graduates performed a mock funeral to showcase the skills they learned.

The Warren Honor Guard only holds two graduations per year, in March and in September.
