F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE, Wyo. -- Col. Michael Power took command of the 90th Maintenance Group during a change of command ceremony June 30, 2021, on F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.
Prior to his current position, Power was the Division Chief and Career Field Manager at the U.S. Air Force Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
Power expressed his gratitude towards Col. Brian Rico, the outgoing 90 MXG commander.
“It will be a tough act to follow, but I'm thankful for the smooth transition that you’ve created here for me,” said Power.
