Lt. Col. Douglas Carmean assumed command of the 90th Operations Support Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 18, 2021 at the Trails End Club on F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

Prior to his current position, Carmean was the Director of Operations for the 320th Missile Squadron here at F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

Lt. Col. Michael Suden, outgoing 90 OSS commander, will head to Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, where he will serve as a Liaison Officer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications to Air Force Global Strike Command.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.
