Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Karins took command of the 37th Helicopter Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 19, 2020 on F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

Prior to his current position, Karins was the Director of Operations for the 37th Helicopter Squadron here at F. E. Warren.

Lieutenant Colonel Adam Rudolphi, outgoing 37 HS commander, will take up the role of Deputy Commandant of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.

Karins affirmed that he intended to stay the positive course that his predecessor maintained.

“We will fight hard and earn respect in the air and we we will love each other like family on the ground,” said Karins. “This is where we have been going and that is the destination that we are still on our journey going toward.”
