Major Claus Fasting took command of the 90th Munitions Squadron during a change of command ceremony June 25, 2019 on F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo.

Fasting previously served as a fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, N.M.

Lieutenant Col. Luke Stover, outgoing 90th MUNS commander, will continue on to Ghedi Air Base in Italy.

A change of command ceremony is a tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility from the outgoing commander to the incoming commander.

Fasting expressed his excitement to join the men and women of the 90th MUNS.

“I couldn’t ask to come to a better prepared unit, and I’m enthusiastic to become a part of the leadership team,” said Fasting.
