Zachary Jarvis, 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron, is detailed as summary court officer to secure and make proper disposition of the personal effects of Senior Airman Michael Gnoato, deceased. Warren Base Theater will host 90th Missile Wing commander's calls Aug. 27 and 28. The 90th Operations Group and 90th Security Forces Group should attend the session Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. The 90th Maintenance Group and 90th Medical Group should attend the session Aug. 27 at 3:30 p.m. The 90th Mission Support Group and Wing Staff Agencies should attend the session Aug. 28 at 8 a.m. Those who can not attend their designated session should attend one of the other sessions. Be in place 15 minutes prior to the session's start time. Atlas silo tour The public can take a free tour of the Atlas E missile silo Sept. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. Tours include all accessible areas including the missile bay, generator room, crew quarters and command center of the once-active site. Effective writing class LEAD 5/6 will host an effective writing class open to all first-line or "soon-to-be" supervisors and civilians. The class will be Aug. 28 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and is designed to teach supervisors how to write effective bullets for Enlisted Performance Reports, 1206s, etc. For more information, call 773-5355. Hemp seed warning Blueberry Power Chobani Yogurt contains hulled hemp seeds. As per Air Force Instruction 44-121, use of hemp seed and/or hemp seed oil products are prohibited because they may contain varying levels of tetrahydrocannabinol, a substance which can result in a positive urine analysis screening. Freedom hall painting Starting Sept. 3, painting will be underway in the Freedom Hall Fitness Center weight room, parent-child room, aerobics room and hallways from approximately 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. The parent-child room and aerobics room will be closed from Sept. 3 to 13 or until areas are finished. The weight room will be open; however, please be cautious of workers and their equipment. The pedestrian gate to Freedom Elementary will be open from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. The base housing speed limit is 15 miles per hour. Large groups of children will be out and about traveling to and from school, so please use extra caution. Road closures The section of Randall Avenue between Freedom Drive and Central Avenue and lanes on Central Avenue and Liberator Way at the railroad crossings will be closed beginning Sept. 4 and scheduled to re-open by the evening of Sept. 6. There are five modules, each designated a color and that cover different topics, which can be attended in any order. Attendees learn about nutrition, behavioral modification and physical activity to lose weight. The Red Module is scheduled for Sept. 3 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Undergraduate flying training Eligible active-duty officers interested in undergraduate flying training must apply by Nov. 29 to be considered by the UFT selection board, which convenes at Joint Base San Antonio - Randolph, Texas, Jan. 14.
